I’ve talked data but I don’t think I’ve talked about how into the fivethirtyeight.com site I am this year. Nate Silver recently has been getting great exposure. The Colbert interview posted here, a feature that ran today in the Chicago Tribune, as well as several articles for the New Republic.
I think it’s well worth taking a look at how he approaches prediction...

Making it Happen in Creative Industries
The New Yorker published a piece by Jonah Lehrer that explores why we get a great idea when we do. It got me thinking about the ideas business, the article is absolutely worth a read, and you can read it here.
