There’s something very intriguing about how Eisner is navigating digital media. I obviously share the author’s intrigue in what he’s doing, other than the purchase of Topps, which it remains to be seen what he’ll do with that.
The newest venture is a MySpace.tv seriers called “The All for Nots.” Get this, they will actually play at SouthbySouthwest this year. I wonder if they will open for Will Oldham and reignite his acting career.
Turns out Eisner and his people found a show called “The Burg” based out of Williamsburg, NYC. The show seems to be about a group of hapless hipsters, reminds me of the hipster olympics. I hope that indie rock stars make an appearance, especially those from Brooklyn (or transplants living there that is). The best guest appearance would be Micheal Cera who’s starring in his own internet show, it would be like a celebrity guest appearance from the classic tv era.
