Scalpers at Wrigley

This cracks me up. I’ve never scalped actually. I usually go through friends or seats through work.

So, I went to the Cubs VS Pirates game on Sunday.

I’ve never seen tickets go UP in price during the game! At first these guys want 60, then 5th inning…90! WTF…??!! So, if they can’t make 40-50 bucks profit, they eat the tickets! Tax write off ?? The scalpers don’t budge on the pricing. Ruthless..unreal.

I can’t blame them for wanting to make a profit, but holy cow…that’s a little extreme. The scalpers must assume that people that want tickets from them just drove in from the burbs and are “A little wet behind the ears”

One dude asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said, “40” he replied. “that’s below face value.” I said, “dude, the ticket says $28.50, how many Old Styles have you had??!!!.”
